ReplyDeleteमंजुषा माधवराव मोघेकर, जि. प. प्रा. शा. दिग्रस, ता. अर्धापूर. मूल नुकतंच आपलं घर सोडून शाळेत प्रवेशत असते. तेव्हा ते शाळेत येताना आपली स्वतःची भाषा घेऊन येते, पण शाळेत किंवा त्या राज्याची जी भाषा असते, ती येथे वापरली जाते. त्या भाषेतच शिक्षण दिल्या जाते. ही भाषा या मुलांना नीट कळत नाही, त्यामुळे संकल्पना किंवा संबोध स्पष्ट करण्यात अडचण येते. भाषा हे शिक्षणाचे व शिकण्याचे प्रमुख माध्यम आहे. हेच कळत नसेल तर...अध्ययन कसे घडणार? म्हणून नुकतेच घर सोडून आलेल्या मुलांना त्यांच्या भाषेतच शिक्षण मिळाले तर, शिक्षण प्रक्रिया सुलभ व सहज होईल अन्यथा ती मुले अध्ययनात मागे राहतील. त्यांचे संबोध स्पष्ट राहणार नाहीत, ते वर्गात सुसंवाद साधू शकणार नाहीत ते अबोल आणि घुमे बनतील. त्यांच्यात न्यूनगंड येण्याची शक्यता जास्त असू शकते. त्यामुळे अशा मुलांना प्रमाणभाषेची सक्ती न करता त्यांच्या भाषेत अभिव्यक्त होण्याची संधी दिली पाहिजे. असे मला वाटते

They often struggle to understand classroom instructions, express their ideas, and participate confidently in activities. As a result, they may lose interest in learning, experience anxiety, and develop low self-esteem.
ReplyDeleteLearning in an unfamiliar language also affects the development of foundational literacy and numeracy because children spend more effort trying to understand the language than learning new concepts. This can lead to poor academic performance, irregular attendance, and even school dropout.In my view, children learn best when they begin education in their mother tongue or home language. Once they have built strong language skills, they can gradually learn additional languages more effectively.
This helps children feel included, participate actively, and develop confidence while achieving better learning outcomes.
