ReplyDeleteOne of the most challenging issues while providing learning experiences related to all the developmental goals in the classroom is addressing the diverse learning needs, abilities, and pace of every child. In an FLN classroom, children come from different backgrounds and have varying levels of readiness, interests, and prior experiences. Therefore, a single teaching method cannot meet the developmental needs of all learners.
ReplyDeleteAnother major challenge is balancing all domains of development—cognitive, language, physical, social, and emotional—within the available classroom time and resources. Teachers must plan activities that are engaging, inclusive, and developmentally appropriate while also ensuring that every child participates meaningfully.
To overcome these challenges, teachers should adopt a learner-centred approach, use play-based and activity-based learning, continuously observe children's progress, and provide differentiated support. Collaboration with parents and the School Management Committee (SMC) can also help create a supportive learning environment.
