ReplyDeleteICT is an important tool to gain pupil's attention by engaging videos and vibrant pictures and involving them with self assessment and relation with the cartoons.
ReplyDeleteICT plays a significant role in strengthening the Teaching-Learning Assessment (TLA) process at the Foundational and Preparatory stages of school education. It helps make learning more interactive, inclusive, and child-centred, in line with the goals of the FLN Mission and NEP 2020.
ReplyDeleteIn my classroom, I use ICT tools such as educational videos, digital storybooks, interactive games, and audio-visual resources to make concepts easier to understand and more engaging. These tools cater to different learning styles and help children develop foundational literacy and numeracy skills through joyful learning experiences.
For assessment, ICT enables continuous and competency-based evaluation. I can use digital quizzes, online worksheets, and learning apps to monitor children's progress, identify learning gaps, and provide timely support. Maintaining digital records and portfolios also helps track each child's growth over time and share progress with parents during PTMs.
ICT further supports communication between teachers, parents, and school leaders by enabling quick sharing of learning materials, feedback, and children's achievements.
